Childcare Scholarships

Kiddies Kollege Christian Center accepts Child Care Scholarships (CCS) provided by the State of Maryland, formerly known as Child Care Subsidy.

The Child Care Scholarship program provides financial assistance to eligible working families in Maryland, helping make high-quality child care and early childhood education more accessible and affordable.

CCS Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the Maryland Child Care Scholarship (CCS) Program, families must meet applicable eligibility requirements, including:

  • Be a Maryland resident who is working, employed, attending school, or participating in an approved training program. If both parents live in the same household, both must meet the applicable eligibility requirements.

  • Receive Temporary Cash Assistance (TCA) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI), or meet the program's income eligibility guidelines.

  • Ensure that the child receiving care is immunized according to Maryland state requirements, or provide documentation of an approved immunization exemption.

  • Provide documentation showing that each child needing care is a U.S. citizen or qualified alien, such as a birth certificate or other approved documentation. Parents are not required to be U.S. citizens.

  • Provide proof of identity for all household members. Government-issued identification may be used for parents, while a child's birth certificate or immigration documentation may serve as proof of identity.

  • The head of household must provide a photo ID.

  • Meet the applicable age requirements: the child must generally be under 13 years of age, or under 19 years of age if disabled.

Eligibility is subject to Maryland CCS program requirements and guidelines.
